Look what I found . . .

Tucker made a new discovery last week . . . his feet!!!

Decorating Tucker's Very Own Christmas Tree!!

Tucker was already accumulating several ornaments, so we decided that he needed his very own Christmas Tree for his room. It was fun putting together his tree. I tried to let him help with the decoratings, but he wasn't so sure about it at first.

What is all this in my room? The lights are pretty, but what this this round thing say? Oh . . . my first Christmas ornament!!!

He is so proud of his tree!!!

Getting Ready for Christmas

From picking out and decorating our Christmas Tree to having breakfast with Santa, this Christmas Season has been extra special. Each holiday tradition seems brand new this year as we experience them with Tucker. He has been such a joy and it is fun to think of Christmas from his perspective. We began Tucker's holiday traditions by attending the Guyton Christmas Parade and watching Santa arrive in town on the fire engine. He was so good during the parade and did not even flinch when all the trucks were blaring their sirens. I know that it is hard to say that a 3 1/2 month old enjoyed the parade, but he did seem to like watching all the floats, cars and fire trucks going by.

Hannah, Tucker, Holden and Hayden at the parade.

Our next tradition was picking out the Christmas Tree. Of course Tucker and Daddy checked 'em all out until they found our tree. What do ya think Daddy . . . I think this one is perfect!!

Tucker's first Christmas Tree!!

After the tree was selected (and sat in the den with no lights or decorations for almost 2 weeks!!) we finally decided to decorate. Tucker chilled out in his swing while Mommy and Daddy did most of the decorating. He did help Daddy with a few ornaments, but I think he mainly enjoyed watching the lights, especially the blinking ones.

At breakfast with Santa, Tucker was not so interested in Santa, but he sure was fascinated with Sadie Grace, he's already checking out the girls!!

Our Holiday Season has just begun and we are looking forward to experiencing each moment of Tucker's first Christmas.

A Week of Smiles, Laughs, Grins and Giggles!!!

Tucker is beginning such a fun stage. He grins, laughs, and coos at everything. It is really exciting to see his personality developing.

We have been helping Tucker practice sitting up. He is such a curious little monster, he loves to sit up and see what is going on around him. After he figured out how much fun it is to sit up and look around, he does not like laying down much anymore.

Beautiful Blue Eyes!!

Tucker is such happy little fella, especially after bathtime. He loves to splash and kick in the water and is so relaxed and in such a good mood after his bath. Daddy had just finished lathering him up with his after-bath lotion. Look at all those cute baby rolls!! He is a growing boy!!
Look at me and mommy. It's 5:59pm on Friday . . . WHERE IS MY DADDY? Mommy says he is still at work and will be home soon. Tucker can't wait too much longer!!

Tucker's First Thanksgiving

Tucker had a great first Thanksgiving!!! He is such a blessing and joy to us. It is amazing how much our lives have changed in a wonderful way. This Thanksgiving we are truly thankful for the gift God has given us.

Daddy got up early Thanksgiving morning to go hunting, so mommy and me decided to just take it easy. We started our Thanksgiving day with the Holiday tradition of watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He liked listening to the music and seeing all the colors of the parade. We also read his favorite Thanksgiving book, The Turkey Ball.

Once Daddy got home, it was time for turkey. We went to Great-Great Grandma Ruby's for lunch and boy was it good . . . just take a look at my belly!!! After turkey day lunch, my jeans are getting a little snug!! Tucker enjoyed the afternoon visiting with everyone.

After lunch it was time to pose for some Thanksgiving pictures with Daddy.

Can you figure out what Daddy is doing????? He is brushing my hair with his scruffy beard. I've got to look my best for pictures!!!

Don't we look handsome!!!

Turkey Day is so much fun . . . I love seeing everybody and showing off my smile.

It was soon time to head over to Aunt Alices for supper, but someone gave me the bad news that all the turkey was gone. . .

Luckily it was just a bad joke. There was plenty to eat and at the end of the day, my belly was full. Those jeans that were getting snug at lunch were just way too tight now. I had to unsnap them while I sat on the couch cheering on the Falcons with the guys

It was a long day and once we got home it didn't take long to drift off to sleep. . .

What a beautiful baby!! He had a wonderful Thanksgiving with his family.

Testing out the Baby Pod

This baby pod seat is kinda neat. I like this sitting up idea . . . I think I'll try more of it.

Goooooo Falcon . . . .

Tucker is not so happy about how the Falcon's season is turning out. His face says it all . . . it's not looking too good for his favorite team :(

This is the best. I love it when lets me sleep in his bed, it is sooo much more comfortable than my crib.

I just can't help it, I'm a Daddy's Boy!!

I LOVE bathtime . . .

Bathtime is so much fun!! Tucker loves to splash in the water.

My First Halloween

Tucker's first Halloween was a lot of fun. He was a creepy crawly spider. He was not a big fan of his hat at first, however after the second or third time we put it on him he didn't mind so much. He had a lot of fun trick-or-treating and enjoyed all his "treats".

What a crew!!

The First Halloween . . . don't they look excited!!! It is such a tough job being so adorable.

Arrrrrr . . . Look out for the pirates . . . on Halloween night they are out for all the treats.
